Alisa Ganieva joined other Russian writers and journalists from the Moscow-PEN organization to support a Russian new political prisoner Anastasia Shevchenko who was put under the house arrest just for being an activist of a so-called “unwanted organization” (Open Russia), namely for organizing lectures in support of democracy in her native town.
